In the first three quarters, the total import and export volume of cross-border e-commerce in Shanghai Hongqiao Business District exceeded 10 billion yuan.

On November 22, according to the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District Management Committee, recently, the Hongqiao Business District released the report card of cross-border e-commerce development. The Hongqiao Business District Management Committee disclosed that in the first three quarters of 2025, the volume of cross-border e-commerce imports and exports in the Business District exceeded 64 million units and the amount exceeded 10 billion yuan, respectively, increasing by 5.8 times and 4.6 times year-on-year. At the same time, the main bodies of cross-border e-commerce are accelerating aggregation. As of the end of September 2025, a total of more than 230 e-commerce enterprises, logistics and storage enterprises, service enterprises, etc. registered in the business district, more than 10 times higher than in 2022.
