The first strategic dialogue between the foreign ministers of China and Tajikistan was successfully held in Dushanbe.

On November 22, 2025, local time, Wang Yi, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held the first strategic dialogue with Tajik Foreign Minister Muhridin in Dushanbe. The two sides conducted in-depth communication on implementing the consensus of the two heads of state and deepening mutually beneficial cooperation, reaching extensive consensus and jointly launching the strategic dialogue mechanism between the foreign ministers of the two countries. After the talks, the two sides issued a joint statement on the first strategic dialogue between China and Tajikistan.
