"Chuan Dian enters Su" Ultra High Voltage Transmission Project Transports Clean Hydropower of Over 500 Billion Kilowatt-hours.

It was learned from State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Company Limited that the two "Sichuan Electric Power into Jiangsu" ultra-high voltage transmission projects - 800 kV Jinping-South Jiangsu and 800 kV Baihetan-Jiangsu special high-voltage DC transmission projects have cumulatively transmitted over 500 billion kilowatt-hours of clean hydropower to Jiangsu, reaching 505 billion kilowatt-hours, equivalent to saving over 150 million tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by over 475 million tons, effectively promoting the optimization of the regional energy structure and green low-carbon development.
