The Tianyancha App shows that on November 21st, the patent for "Vehicle Drift Method, Device, Vehicle, Storage Medium, and Program Product" applied by Xiaomi Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. was published. The abstract shows that the disclosure includes: determining the initial target speed of the rear wheels, obtaining the current driving speed of the vehicle to determine the speed range; determining the target speed based on the initial target speed and speed range; determining the speed deviation information based on the target speed and the actual speed of the rear wheels; determining the control state based on the speed deviation information; controlling the vehicle drift based on the control state. By combining the initial target speed of the rear wheels with the real-time driving speed to define the speed range, the target speed of the rear wheels can be accurately determined, and the speed deviation information can be quickly generated by comparing the target speed with the actual speed of the rear wheels. This can determine whether the motion trend of the rear wheels meets the drift requirement and quickly adjust the control state to ensure the rear wheel speed accurately returns to the target value, effectively avoiding drift failure caused by excessive speed deviation, enhancing the stability of vehicle drift, and improving the safety and stability experience of drifting.
