BYD announces multiple gun charging patent.

Tianyancha App shows that on November 21st, BYD Co., Ltd. applied for a "multi-gun charging method and system, storage medium, program product, electronic device and vehicle" which was publicly disclosed. The summary indicates that in the case of at least two charging interfaces connecting charging guns, the vehicle charging is controlled based on the target charging mode, which is either based on user configuration or determined by the target message on the charging communication bus. The target message is used to identify the target charging mode, which includes independent charging mode and master-slave charging mode. In this way, different charging modes of supporting multiple gun independent charging and multiple gun master-slave charging on the same vehicle can be achieved through user configuration or communication detection means without changing the design of the charging network communication harness, thus improving the compatibility of the vehicle with different charging stations.
