Yunnan Zhaotong reports that "Electric poles are affecting villagers' construction of new houses": Communication and negotiations have been carried out.
On November 21, the Zhaotong Power Supply Bureau in Yunnan Province issued a statement: Recently, there have been reports in the media about a villager in Zhenxiong County, Zhaotong City who needs to move the electricity pole because it is affecting the construction of a new house. We take this matter very seriously. Since receiving the villager's appeal, the Zhenxiong Power Supply Bureau in Zhaotong immediately began communication and negotiation with the villager and local government departments. The electricity pole at the site was built and put into operation in 2012, providing safe and reliable power supply for local production and living for over ten years. We fully understand the villager's need to improve their living conditions, and are currently working with the villager and local government departments to coordinate a feasible solution. We thank the public for their supervision and support. According to a previous report by The Paper, the Yunnan Power Grid Limited Liability Company's Zhaotong Zhenxiong Power Supply Bureau recently responded to a villager in Dawan Town, Zhenxiong County, Yunnan, who planned to build a new house but had an electricity pole in their residential land and requested the power company to move it. They stated that the pole was 6 meters away from the ground and 3.5 meters horizontally from the user's house, meeting the relevant standards and determining that there were no safety hazards. If it is necessary to move, modify, or take protective measures for already built power facilities due to construction needs, the construction unit should negotiate with the power facility management unit in advance and bear the necessary engineering costs.
