Hunan province initiates the first batch of parenting subsidies distribution work, convenient application channels have been fully opened.

On November 20, Hunan province started the first batch of childcare subsidy distribution. According to the Health Commission of Hunan Province, as of November 20, the number of applicants in the province has reached 1.455 million, with 1.404 million passing the verification. The first batch of subsidies will be distributed to 1.246 million infants and young children, covering those who submitted applications before September 30 and passed the verification, with a total fund of approximately 4.003 billion yuan. Convenient application channels have been fully opened. One of the parents of the infants or young children or other guardians can apply for the childcare subsidy, which will be used for childcare-related expenses. The subsidy can be applied for through both online and offline channels. Applicants should apply for the childcare subsidy annually and must submit the application before December 31 of the designated year.
