India issues preliminary anti-dumping ruling on low ash metallurgical coke related to China

Recently, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued a notice, affirmatively ruling on the anti-dumping of low-ash metallurgical coke originating from or imported from China, Australia, Colombia, Indonesia, Japan, and Russia, and recommending the imposition of provisional anti-dumping duties on the products involved from the above-mentioned countries as follows: $130.66 per ton for China, $73.55 per ton for Australia, $119.51 per ton for Colombia, $82.75 per ton for Indonesia, $60.87 per ton for Japan, and $85.12 per ton for Russia. The products involved are metallurgical coke with an ash content of less than 18%, not including a phosphorus content of up to 0.030%, with a particle size of up to 30mm, allowing for 5% particle size tolerance, used for the production of ultra-low-phosphorus metallurgical coke for ferroalloys. This case involves products under Indian customs codes 27040010, 27040020, 27040030, and 27040090.
