On November 19, 2025, the China Securities Investment Fund Industry Association and the German Federal Investment and Asset Management Association signed a memorandum of understanding in Frankfurt, Germany, in Chinese, German, and English. The memorandum is an important demonstration of mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of Sino-European finance, marking a new starting point for deeper and more pragmatic cooperation between the fund industries of China and Germany, as written in the Joint Declaration of the Fourth China-Germany High-Level Financial Dialogue. In the next step, both sides will take this opportunity to encourage and support mutual exploration of development opportunities for fund industry institutions in both countries, actively promote cross-border cooperation between the asset management industries of China and Germany to reach new heights, and ensure that the benefits of cooperation reach investors in both countries.
