The Hong Kong SAR Government announces the "New Territories Science and Technology City Innovation and Technology Industry Development Plan Concept Summary"

According to the Smart Finance APP, on November 20th, the Hong Kong SAR Government announced the "Concept Outline of the Development Plan for the Innovation and Technology Industry in the Nent Technology City" ("Concept Outline"), which sets clear development strategies for the Nent Technology City from the top-level design of developing 210 hectares of new innovation and technology land, vision, goals and positioning, industrial space layout, and development model. According to estimates by consultants, it is expected that the Nent Technology City will contribute approximately HK$250 billion or more to Hong Kong's local GDP annually during full operation, providing over 300,000 related full-time job positions.
