On November 20th, Yu Minhong responded to criticisms from employees about the Antarctica trip on his Weibo. He later added in the comments section, "For a trip to Antarctica, prices vary depending on the different ships and cabins, ranging from 50,000 to 300,000 yuan. The ship that Xie Zhinong and I were on, the Xue Long, is indeed a more advanced icebreaker cruise, and the price for 12 days is between 200,000 and 250,000 yuan, not the reported 1.48 million yuan."
