Zhejiang issues guidance to promote the pilot program of low-altitude applications in the transportation sector.

Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Transportation issued the "Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Pilot and Trial of Low-altitude Applications in the Field of Transportation in Zhejiang Province", requiring low-altitude applications to be used as an important lever to promote the transformation and upgrading of the transportation industry, cultivate new quality production forces in the transportation field, empower the creation of a modern comprehensive transportation system in Zhejiang, and strive to create a national model of low-altitude applications in comprehensive transportation. The "Guiding Opinions" propose the development of urban low-altitude logistics distribution, the promotion of the integration of rural "passenger and freight mail" with low-altitude logistics development, and the improvement of the public service capabilities of mountainous and island transportation; exploration of the implementation of unmanned aerial vehicle "non-site" enforcement models to enhance the intelligence level of transportation enforcement; support for local governments to vigorously expand "low-altitude + tourism" scenario applications, deepen the integration of transportation and tourism development, and other content.
