The UN passed a resolution calling for a ceasefire during the Milan Winter Olympics.

On November 19th local time, the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution drafted by Italy, calling for an Olympic truce during the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics. The resolution was unanimously passed after negotiations at the General Assembly.
