Novartis Pharmaceuticals: Will build a flagship production center in North Carolina, which will be able to produce drugs covering all major therapeutic areas at a single location. The expansion plans in North Carolina will create 700 jobs by 2030, and the flagship center is scheduled to open in 2027-2028. The new production center will increase production capacity and allow all key drugs to be manufactured end-to-end in the United States, as part of the company's $23 billion investment in US infrastructure over the next five years.
