Germany releases its first national space security strategy.

The German government released its first national space security strategy on the 19th, stating that space security is one of its "core political tasks". The German Ministry of Defense issued a press release on the same day, stating that the strategy includes three action areas: identifying space dangers and threats, promoting international cooperation and maintaining space order, and establishing deterrence and strengthening defense capabilities.
