Two departments: By the end of 2028, the modernization transformation of 30,000 acres of old facilities will be carried out, and the scale of modern facility agricultural production will increase by 20,000 acres.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region issued the "Work Plan to Promote the High-quality Development of Modern Facility Agriculture in Southern Xinjiang." The Plan states that by the end of 2028, 30,000 mu of old and obsolete facilities will be modernized, and 20,000 mu of new modern facility agricultural production scale will be added. The focus will be on creating 15 modern facility agricultural production counties and corps. Advantageous characteristic industries will be basically formed, with continuous improvement in the capacity, quality, efficiency, and competitiveness of facility agricultural products. The annual output value of facility planting industry will reach over 9 billion yuan. A batch of national and provincial leading enterprises in modern facility agriculture will be cultivated, and a international distribution center for agricultural products in Southern Xinjiang will be built.
