The closing of the stock markets in Japan and South Korea

The Nikkei 225 Index closed down 165.28 points, a decrease of 0.34%, at 48,537.70 points; the TOPIX Index closed down 0.2% at 3,245.58 points. The KOSPI Index fell by 0.61% to 3,929.51 points.
