At the Shenzhen International Financial Conference held today, Wang Liang, the president of China Merchants Bank, announced that their financial asset investment company (AIC) will soon be in operation. Prior to this, the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission approved the establishment of AIC companies for Industrial Bank, CITIC, and China Merchants Bank in May, June, and July respectively; on November 16, Industrial Bank's AIC company was officially established.
