2025 ShanghaiRanking's World-Class Subject Rankings Released, 217 disciplines from Hubei listed, with 14 disciplines in the global top ten.

On November 18th, the higher education evaluation agency, QS, officially released the 2025 "QS World Class Subject Ranking". A total of 217 subjects from 18 universities in Hubei Province made the list, with 14 subjects ranking in the global Top10. Among them, Wuhan University's remote sensing technology has been ranked first globally for 9 consecutive years. In terms of the total number of subjects on the list, Wuhan University has 44 subjects, and Huazhong University of Science and Technology has 42 subjects, leading the province. Other universities with more than 10 subjects on the list include China University of Geosciences, Wuhan University of Technology, Huazhong Agricultural University, Wuhan University of Science and Technology, and Huazhong Normal University.
