According to the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the JUNO experiment in Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, has released its first results two months after its completion. The precision of its measurements of neutrino-related parameters is 1.5-1.8 times higher than the previous best record. Neutrinos are known as "ghost particles" and are one of the lightest and most difficult to capture particles in the universe. The JUNO experiment was built to detect these "ghost particles" and officially started data collection on August 26, 2025.
