Chicago soybean futures rose and then fell back, soybean meal fell by about 1.4%, and soybean oil rose more than 1.9%.
In the New York closing on Tuesday, the Bloomberg Grains Index fell by 0.04% to 30.9897 points. After a "gap down" opening, it continued to rise since the Asia-Pacific midday session, reaching a daily high of 31.2876 points at 21:07 Beijing time, then quickly retracting the gains and falling to a daily low of 30.8392 points at 22:49.
CBOT corn futures rose by 0.11% to $4.4850 per bushel.
CBOT wheat futures rose by 0.13% to $5.59 per bushel.
CBOT soybean futures fell by 0.63% to $11.5050 per bushel, reaching a daily high of $11.6950 at 21:06 before turning lower. Soybean meal futures fell by 1.38% while soybean oil futures rose by 1.92%.
