The Far East submarine cable and Zhenhua Heavy Industry have officially signed a contract for the construction of a large cable laying vessel with multiple functions.

On November 18, Zhang Jian, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co., Ltd., led a team to visit the Far East. Jiang Xipei, founder and chairman of Far East Holdings Group, and Chen Jing, deputy secretary of the Far East Holdings Group Party Committee and executive chairman of the cable industry, warmly received them. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the development of deep-sea and the layout of the international marine market, and officially signed a cooperation agreement on the construction of large cable-laying and multi-functional ships. This marks the substantial implementation of strategic cooperation between the two companies in the field of marine equipment and energy support.
