TrendForce estimates that the output value of the global wafer foundry industry will grow by about 20% in 2026, while the output value of the integrated circuit design industry will also increase by 21% year-on-year. These growths will be concentrated in advanced processes and AI-related fields, while mature processes and non-AI applications will remain weak overall.
