The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government Economic and Trade Office in Toronto announced on November 17 that Wang Guobiao would assume the position of Director of the office starting on that day. The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Toronto is the official representative of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government of the People's Republic of China in Canada, established in 1991, with the responsibility of promoting economic and trade exchanges between Hong Kong and Canada.
