According to the latest "Hong Kong Millionaire Survey Report 2025" from Citibank Hong Kong, the number of millionaires in Hong Kong is expected to reach 395,000 by 2025, an increase of 5,000 compared to last year, accounting for about 7% of the local population aged 21 to 79. Citibank defines individuals with total net assets of over 10 million Hong Kong dollars (including primary residence, but excluding mortgage loans) and at least 1 million Hong Kong dollars in liquid assets as "millionaires".
