The first general meeting of the first member representative assembly of the trade union of the People's Bank of China was held in Beijing.

The election of the committee of the first session of the People's Bank of China Union was held, electing Comrade Tao Ling as the Chairman of the Union Committee; the election of the first session of the People's Bank of China Union Funds Review Committee was held; and the first session of the Women's Committee of the People's Bank of China Union was established through consultation. The meeting decided that the term of office for the members of the People's Bank of China Union Congress for this session is 5 years.
