Boeing has said that Middle Eastern airlines are entering a new era of growth and modernization, with the aircraft fleet in the region expected to more than double in the next 20 years. By 2044, with the growth of tourism, trade, hub development, and the expanding middle class, the region's share of global passenger traffic is expected to exceed 10%.
