House fire in southern Kazakhstan kills 12 people.

On the morning of November 18th local time, a residential building in the village of Algabas in the southern Turkestan region of Kazakhstan caught fire, resulting in the death of 12 people, including 9 children, with 3 others hospitalized for treatment. It was reported that the fire quickly engulfed the entire building, with a total area of about 360 square meters. Witnesses said that the night before the fire, the owner had invited guests to attend a celebration. On that day, Kazakh President Tokayev expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and ordered the local government to provide necessary assistance to the families of the deceased and injured, and to promptly investigate the cause of the fire.
