The patent abstract shows that this application discloses a method, system, and storage medium for controlling robots. The method includes: obtaining speed control instructions and movement data of a reference object, wherein the speed control instructions are used to control the movement mode to be taken by the first activity area of a preset form robot, the first activity area includes: the lower limbs and waist of the preset form robot, the movement data is used to determine the action to be performed by the second activity area of the preset form robot, the second activity area includes: the upper limbs of the preset form robot; based on the speed control instructions and movement data, determine the full-body hybrid control method of the preset form robot; control the preset form robot according to the full-body hybrid control method.
