Report: ByteSeed has seen another core member leave, with a total of 7 leaving this year.

Core member of ByteSeed's language model team Qiao Siyuan recently left his job and joined Meta. In addition, Jiang Lu and Tian Zhi, core members of Seed's visual model research team, left their jobs earlier this year, with Jiang Lu joining Apple. Jiang Lu joined Byte in February 2024, responsible for video AI development, and was previously the project research leader of Google VideoPoet; Tian Zhi joined Byte in mid-2023, was a technical backbone at AI startup Beyond Light Years, and served as a mentor for Seed's top AI talent project, TopSeed. Including these three, a total of seven research core members have left Seed this year.
