The latest data shows that the average commission rate for A-shares in Shanghai in October has fallen below 0.12%, at 0.192%, a decrease from 0.197% in September. This year, the average commission rate for A-shares in Shanghai has been below 0.12% for two consecutive months. Some top securities firms have opened new accounts with a commission charge of 0.08%, with ETFs even lower at 0.05%. Industry insiders explained that commissions include the "net commission" charged by securities companies and the transaction regulatory fees charged on behalf of securities companies, which include trading fees, regulatory fees, and transfer fees, totaling around 0.0641%.
