Dahua Jixian analyst Suryaputra Wijaksana stated in a report that consumer spending in Indonesia in the fourth quarter may increase significantly due to various government stimulus plans. The free nutrition meal program is actively stimulating national demand and creating job opportunities, providing a clear boost to the recent economy. The consumer confidence index rose from 115.0 in September to 121.2 in October, driven by signs of recovery in business activities and an increase in job opportunities, leading to improved income expectations. Due to the impact of government stimulus measures not yet fully realized, and with consumption likely to accelerate, Dahua Jixian predicts that Indonesia's economic growth rates in the fourth quarter and in 2025 will be 5.1%-5.4% and 5.1% respectively.
