According to the Zhitong Financial APP, on November 17th, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, and six other departments issued opinions on accelerating the construction of modern state-owned forest farms. It mentioned that by 2030, the management system of state-owned forest farms will be further improved, the ecosystem will be effectively protected and restored, the mechanism for sustainable resource utilization will be basically established, the forest volume per unit area will increase by about 5%, and a modern state-owned forest farm system with high resource quality, stable ecological functions, and full industrial development will be initially established, becoming an important growth point for driving the green development of forested and mountainous areas.
