The navy's Sichuan ship successfully completed its first sea trial.

On the afternoon of November 16, at around 5 pm, China's amphibious assault ship, the first ship of the 076 class, Sichuan, completed its first three-day sea trial mission and returned to the dock at the Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding yard in Shanghai. During this trial voyage, a series of tests were conducted on Sichuan's power, electrical and other systems, achieving the expected results. Since its launch in December 2024, the construction work of Sichuan has been steadily progressing according to plan, successfully completing mooring tests and equipment installation debugging, and meeting the technical requirements for sea trials. The following trial projects will be gradually carried out based on the overall equipment construction plan.
