Li Yang responds to criticism of Dong Yuhui's poor he hopes that Dong Yuhui will return to the classroom and focus on education.

On November 15th, Li Yang, the founder of Crazy English, posted three videos in a row on a short video platform in response to previous criticisms of Dong Yuhui. Li Yang expressed that he really likes Dong Yuhui and that he was just "playfully criticizing" him. Because Dong Yuhui is a public figure, has an English Level 8 certificate, is a renowned teacher at New Oriental, and has such a large following, his English skills are important. Li Yang also hopes that Dong Yuhui can play a bigger role in the process of nationwide English learning, stating, "I often say that people who criticize me love me more than those who praise me. I criticize you because we love you the most." Li Yang also expressed his hope for Dong Yuhui to return to the classroom and education, leaving the selling of products to others, and to use his significant influence to help more children fall in love with English.
