How is the rule of law construction in the Yangtze River Delta cities? Three cities received an A+ rating.
On November 14th, the Yangtze River Delta Urban Rule of Law Index Evaluation Blue Book was jointly released by the Shanghai Institute of Integration of Rule of Law and the Institute of Legal Codes. The evaluation continues to assess the rule of law construction level of all 41 districts and cities in the Yangtze River Delta region. The index evaluation was launched in 2020 and is conducted every two years. The evaluation shows that the average score reached 81.66 points, an increase of 3.43 points from 78.23 points in 2022, and the overall rating has jumped from "good" to "excellent". The number of cities with excellent ratings has significantly increased, from 15 in 2022 to 23, with a continuous excellent rate of 100%. Three cities received an A+ rating, namely Shanghai, Ningbo, and Wenzhou, with Wenzhou entering the A+ ranks for the first time.
