After being hit by a cyber attack, Jaguar Land Rover temporarily halted production, resulting in a post-tax loss of 559 million pounds in the third quarter. Part of the reason for this loss was the high cost of 196 million pounds related to the hack, which also impacted performance guidance. The company stated that its full-year profitability may now be completely wiped out, with an estimated cash flow burn of up to 2.5 billion pounds. The cyber attack forced Jaguar Land Rover to shut down production for nearly six weeks, but the company has since returned to normal production levels.
