In order to further maintain the healthy and orderly development of the real estate market in Shanghai, the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee Information Office, together with the Municipal Housing Management Bureau, the Municipal Public Security Bureau's Cyber Security Detachment and other departments, has launched a special campaign to regulate the order of online real estate information dissemination starting today. This special action focuses on regulating website platforms, "self-media" accounts, real estate intermediaries, etc., that publish and disseminate negative information about the Shanghai property market, distort policy interpretations, spread false low-priced housing listings, and engage in malicious speculation, among other illegal activities. It aims to crack down on behaviors such as manipulating prices, misleading expectations, seeking traffic, and disrupting market order through website platforms. During the rectification process, various departments will strengthen coordination, adhere to both prevention and control, balance short-term effects and long-term mechanisms, and strive to achieve the effect of "cracking down on one, deterring a group, and solving a category" of rectification. Typical cases will be publicized to urge website platforms to improve the system regulations for the release of real estate-related information, effectively regulate the order of online real estate information dissemination, and create a clean online space.
