According to the Financial Times APP, on November 14, the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission released data showing that by the end of the third quarter of 2025, the total assets of banking financial institutions in China amounted to 47.43 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%. Among them, the total assets of large commercial banks in both domestic and foreign currencies reached 20.81 trillion yuan, an increase of 10% year-on-year, accounting for 43.9%; the total assets of joint-stock commercial banks in both domestic and foreign currencies reached 7.62 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.7% year-on-year, accounting for 16.1%.
