Ministry of Commerce and three other departments: Strictly control the export of new cars under the guise of used cars.
From January 1, 2026, for vehicles that have been registered for export for less than 180 days, local commercial authorities should guide local companies to supplement the submission of a "After-Sales Service Confirmation Letter" issued by the vehicle's manufacturer. The content should include the destination country, vehicle information, information on service centers providing after-sales service, and should be stamped with the manufacturer's official seal. Vehicles that cannot provide the aforementioned materials will not be issued an export permit. For vehicles that have completed the transfer registration before the implementation date of this notice and are awaiting export procedures, companies should be guided to fulfill the contract and export in an orderly manner.
