Recently, the International Balance of Payments Statistics Indirect Reporting Example Analysis Writing Group of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange released the "Analysis of International Balance of Payments Statistics Indirect Reporting Examples." The "Analysis" presents specific reporting content in the form of case studies, covering 159 indirect reporting categories, and provides detailed explanations of the scope of indirect reporting, identification of residents and non-residents, principles for reporting various business activities in the current account and capital and financial accounts, and other key and difficult points of reporting. Each category includes institutional explanations and several reporting cases, making it easier for banks and reporting entities to search by category and improve the convenience of indirect reporting. At the same time, the "Analysis" made three adjustments based on the 2024 revised edition: first, adding new cases to meet the needs of expanding new formats; second, deleting business scenarios that are no longer applicable; and third, adjusting the wording of some cases to make it easier for reporting entities to understand and refer to.
