Announcement from China Merchants Port: The total number of containers in October 2025 was 17.418 million TEUs, an increase of 5.5% compared to the same period last year; the cumulative number for the year was 171.714 million TEUs, an increase of 5.1% compared to the same period last year. Among them, the mainland ports handled 13.77 million TEUs, an increase of 8.7%; the Pearl River Delta handled 1.518 million TEUs, an increase of 4.2%; the Yangtze River Delta handled 9.086 million TEUs, an increase of 10.7%; the Bohai Rim handled 2.876 million TEUs, an increase of 5.7%; the Southeast region handled 199,000 TEUs, an increase of 19.5%; the Southwest region handled 91,000 TEUs, a decrease of 19.9%; the ports in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan handled 394,000 TEUs, a decrease of 25.8%; and the overseas ports handled 3.254 million TEUs, a decrease of 1.5%. The total amount of bulk cargo was 99.929 million tons, a decrease of 9.9%; the cumulative amount for the year was 1.046 billion tons, a decrease of 0.2%.
