Nvidia-backed Australian artificial intelligence company Firmus raises $325 million.
Australia's Firmus company announced on Friday that it will raise 500 million Australian dollars in a new round of financing. The artificial intelligence company and potential IPO candidate hope to accelerate the development of their artificial intelligence infrastructure plan, Project Southgate. According to a source familiar with the matter, this financing round is the second in two months and has received support from American chip giant NVIDIA and domestic fund management company Elliston Capital. These two investors have been supporters of Firmus and have participated in previous rounds of financing.
