According to the Ministry of Water Resources, during the 14th Five-Year Plan, the Three Gorges project has arranged funds of 46.91 billion yuan and implemented 1,235 projects to promote the stable and prosperous resettlement of migrants and the economic and social development of the reservoir area. During the 14th Five-Year Plan, the resettlement of migrants in the Three Gorges Reservoir area has achieved its phased goals. Through comprehensive measures such as supporting advantageous characteristic industries, a total of 440,000 new jobs have been created, and by 2024, the per capita disposable income of rural migrants in the Three Gorges Reservoir area will be 22,000 yuan, 4.19 times that of 2010, with an average annual growth rate of 10.5%; the per capita disposable income of urban migrants will be 46,000 yuan, 2.3 times that of 2010. The living environment continues to improve, and the infrastructure and public service facilities in the reservoir area are constantly being improved.
