In October, the national service industry production index increased by 4.6% year-on-year. By industry, the production index of information transmission, software and information technology services, leasing and business services, and financial industry increased by 13.0%, 8.2%, and 5.6% year-on-year respectively, which were 8.4, 3.6, and 1.0 percentage points faster than the service industry production index. From January to October, the national service industry production index increased by 5.7% year-on-year. From January to September, the operating income of service industry enterprises above a certain scale increased by 7.6% year-on-year. In October, the business activity index of the service industry was 50.2% and the expected business activity index was 56.1%. Among them, the business activity indices of industries such as railway transportation, aviation transportation, postal services, accommodation, culture, sports, and entertainment were in the high prosperity zone of 60.0% or above.
