Anderson Economic Group Limited Liability Company's brief analysis indicates that the impact of the longest government shutdown in history in the United States will be significantly greater than the shutdown that occurred from 2018 to 2019. Its full impact has not yet been fully realized. The company's CEO, Patrick Anderson, said, "We won't see official government statistics for at least a month, but the private sector information we have currently shows that the effects of the shutdown in 2025 are more severe than the last shutdown that ended in January 2019." The company pointed out that both beer and car sales saw a decline in October. Car sales decreased by 4% compared to September, while beer sales dropped by 6%. Anderson added, "When beer sales go down, you know the situation is serious."
