State Grid Corporation: Wholly-owned subsidiary plans to invest 5.698 billion yuan to build the Baicheng Phase II 2660,000 kilowatt coal-fired power supply project.
State Grid Corporation announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Baicheng State Grid Hanhai Power Generation Co., Ltd., plans to invest in and build the Baicheng Phase II 2660,000-kilowatt coal-fired power project. The project is planned to have a total investment of 5.698 billion yuan, with a construction period of 26 months. The project's capital internal rate of return is 8.32%, and the total investment internal rate of return is 4.69%. The project plans to build 2660,000-kilowatt ultra-supercritical, once-through reheat, condensing wet-cool brown coal-fired generating units, which have heating capability, with supporting facilities for flue gas desulfurization, denitrification, and high-efficiency dust removal, as well as provisions for the CCUS device and liquid ammonia co-firing construction conditions. Smart power plant and fuel intelligence systems will be built simultaneously. This project is a double key coal-fired power project at the national and Jilin provincial levels, and has been included in the national "14th Five-Year Plan", in line with national energy strategy, and with important strategic value and practical significance.
