Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix aim to complete the research and development of HBM4E in the first half of 2026.

Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix have set a goal to strive to complete the research and development of HBM4E in the first half of 2026. It is reported that HBM4E will be used in new artificial intelligence accelerators of global technology giants, including the top version R300 of NVIDIA's Ruben platform. AI accelerators equipped with HBM4E are expected to be released in 2027, so both parties are accelerating research and development in order to complete quality verification in the second half of next year.
