Xi Jinping replies to young sinologists

Recently, President Xi Jinping replied to young sinologists, encouraging them to be good messengers of communication between Chinese and foreign civilizations. Xi Jinping pointed out that he was pleased to learn that they like Chinese and love Chinese culture, and actively play a role in promoting sinological research and cultural exchange. Xi Jinping emphasized that sinology originated from China and belongs to the world, it is a common spiritual wealth of all mankind. He hopes that they will continue to partner with sinology, walk with China, strengthen research and interpretation, introduce the real, three-dimensional, and comprehensive China to the world, be good messengers of communication between Chinese and foreign civilizations, and contribute wisdom and strength to the construction of a community of shared future for mankind. The 2025 World Chinese Conference will be held in Beijing from November 14th to 16th. Recently, 61 young sinologists from 51 countries who were invited to attend wrote letters to President Xi Jinping, sharing their experiences and reflections on studying China, and expressing their desire to further study Chinese culture and play a role as a bridge for cultural communication.
