At the Baidu World Conference on November 13, Baidu's chairman, Robin Li, talked about the controversy surrounding the AI bubble, stating that the AI industry structure is changing from an unhealthy "regular pyramid" to a healthy "inverted pyramid". Specifically, in the past, the AI industry structure was like a regular pyramid where the chips at the bottom received the majority of the value, and the economic benefits obtained by models and applications above the chips decreased sequentially. However, this industry structure was very unhealthy and unsustainable, leading to market concerns about an AI bubble. He said that the "inverted pyramid" means that chip manufacturers, no matter how much money they earn, the models above the chips must generate ten times the value, and the applications developed based on the models must create 100 times the value. This is what a healthy industry ecosystem looks like.
